Why choose a foldable mattress?

Some models fold into several sections to reduce their length for storage. Others change width: the Original Bambou model expands from 90 to 180 cm wide, with a length of 200 cm. It is 10 cm thick when unfolded and 20 cm thick when folded.

Comfort also depends on how you plan to use it

Ease of folding alone does not tell you whether a mattress is right for sleeping. Check the available length, support, thickness when unfolded, and manufacturer’s recommendations. Some models prioritize portability or storage; others are designed for a particular daybed.

What should you check in the materials?

The selection includes foam cores and different covers depending on the model. Names such as bamboo or aloe vera refer to features of the fabric; they do not, on their own, describe the composition of the support core.

Plan for storage space and bedding

Measure the folded mattress and make sure you can move it around the room. A sufficiently dry, accessible storage area makes it easier to use. Do not force it to fold in a direction its design does not allow.

Choose sheets and mattress protection for the position in which you sleep. When a mattress changes width, a cover fitted to its folded position may not cover the entire surface when unfolded.

How do you care for a foldable mattress?

Let the mattress air out before folding or storing it. Do not fold a cover while it is still damp. Follow the washing temperatures and drying instructions to help the fabric retain its shape.
