Adult daybed

The daybed: understated elegance and everyday practicality

What if one piece of furniture could enhance a room while meeting several needs? The daybed is that versatile piece, cleverly combining style with everyday function. By day, it offers a comfortable, refined place to sit. Come evening, it becomes a cozy place to sleep, without sacrificing style.

We design our daybeds as pieces for everyday living. Their clean-lined design, inspired by timeless forms and natural materials, makes them architectural features in their own right, able to dress a wall elegantly or gently define a space.

Designed to last, our models are made in French or European workshops from FSC- or PEFC-certified wood, with natural finishes free from harmful substances. Because furniture should never be disposable, we create pieces that retain their elegance through changing trends and passing years.

Who is a daybed for?

The daybed’s versatility appeals to anyone looking to combine style and function in their home. It fits naturally into a variety of spaces:

• In a guest room, it offers a welcoming place to sleep without taking over the space.
• In a studio apartment, it makes it easy to switch from living room to bedroom in one simple move.
• In a home office or library, it gives guests a place to sleep without the need for extra furniture.

Its greatest strength? Its ability to adapt to your lifestyle, your space and your preferences, while staying true to a simple, welcoming design.

How do you choose the right daybed?

Choosing a daybed means choosing a practical, comfortable and attractive piece of furniture for everyday life. Here are the key things to consider when choosing yours:

• Materials: choose a frame made of solid wood, a combination of solid and engineered wood, or MDF for strength and longevity. All our daybeds are made with wood from sustainably managed forests, for furniture that is as beautiful as it is responsible.
• Comfort: if the bed will be used regularly for sleeping, choose a sturdy bed base (see our slatted bed base) and a suitable mattress.
• Storage options: some models include a discreet drawer beneath the bed, ideal for tucking away bedding or blankets.
• Style: with or without a backrest, with sculpted armrests or minimalist lines, the daybed comes in a subtle range of designs to suit any decor.

The benefits of a daybed

Our daybeds are more than occasional-use furniture. They’re designed to last and bring understated elegance to your home.

Timeless design
With their balanced lines and understated elegance, our daybeds fit into any interior style: classic, contemporary, Scandinavian or bohemian.

Local production
Our pieces are made in France or elsewhere in Europe by partner workshops chosen for their craftsmanship and ethical commitments.

Responsibly sourced materials
We use only wood from sustainably managed forests, with natural finishes free from harmful compounds, such as plant-based oils and water-based varnishes.

Warranty and repairability
Our furniture comes with a 3-year warranty and is designed to be repairable: a broken leg never means the whole piece has to be thrown away.

Fast, responsible delivery
Our beds are shipped in recycled packaging designed to reduce their carbon footprint while keeping them safe in transit.

What’s the difference between a daybed, a trundle bed and a storage bed?

All three types of bed are practical, but they serve different needs:

• The daybed is designed as an understated sofa bed, often measuring 90 × 190 cm or 90 × 200 cm—perfect for hosting a guest without changing the character of a room.
• The adult trundle bed includes a second pull-out bed. Ideal for family or friends staying over.
• The storage bed makes the most of available space with a large storage compartment beneath the mattress. Perfect for anyone looking to optimize both space and storage.

We offer each of these models to meet your needs for smart, elegant spaces.

An ethically made piece for a more comfortable everyday life

Every detail matters. And every decision is made with the aim of doing better, without compromising on quality, beauty or durability.

Ideas for bringing a daybed into your home

A daybed is a blank canvas to make your own. Here are a few ideas for styling one in your home:

• Mediterranean feel: cream cushions, linen throws and a few terracotta pieces nearby.
• Elegant reading nook: a low bookcase, a brass lamp and a soft throw for winter evenings.
• Minimalist studio: a pared-back look with monochrome textiles and a low-pile rug.
• Bohemian guest room: a mix of patterned cushions, a wall hanging and a small side table made from reclaimed wood.

Let your creativity take the lead. Our collection is designed to give you a foundation of timeless beauty on which to build a space of your own.
