What does a pillow protector do?

The pillow protector adds a removable barrier between the pillow and its pillowcase. It helps protect the filling from dirt and, in its waterproof version, limits liquids passing through. This makes the outer layer of the bedding easier to clean.

This product does not replace the pillowcase, which remains the visible fabric in contact with your face. The two work together, provided you choose compatible sizes and ensure a relaxed fit.

What is our protector made of?

Choose a size that preserves the pillow’s loft

Measure your pillow while it is lying flat, and check both the shape and dimensions of the protector. A square protector will not fit the same way as a rectangular one. Select the corresponding option before ordering.

A protector that is too tight compresses the pillow and may change how it feels. Conversely, one that is too large may bunch up beneath the pillowcase. The layers should lie smoothly, without excessive tension.

In what order should you put the layers on?

First put the protector around the pillow, then add the pillowcase. Check that the corners are properly positioned and that the pillowcase does not pull on the filling. The pillow should retain the comfort you chose it for.

For the mattress, a suitable protector serves a complementary purpose. Choose each accessory according to the dimensions of the item it protects rather than automatically using the measurements of the other item.

How do you wash the pillow protector?

The product details specify machine washing at 60 °C and no tumble drying. Follow the care label and let the protector dry completely before using it. Do not enclose the filling in fabric that is still damp.
