Fitted sheet
Our fitted sheets dress the mattress in three textures to explore: solid-colored organic cotton, striped percale and washed organic cotton sateen. Choose the exact size and suitable pocket depth, then coordinate the colors with the rest of your bedding.
A well-fitting fitted sheet for a smooth surface
The fitted sheet is the layer of bedding you lie directly on. Its fit matters as much as its feel: it should wrap around the mattress and stay in place without excessive tension. The right size helps reduce wrinkles and makes the bed easier to make.
Our collection offers solid colors, stripes and washed cotton sateen. Start with the measurements, then compare textures and colors according to your preferences.
How do you choose the size and pocket depth?
Measure the exact width and length of your mattress, then its height. The pocket is the part of the sheet that extends down the sides and tucks under the mattress. It needs to be deep enough for your setup.
If you use a mattress topper, add its thickness to that of the mattress when the sheet needs to cover both. The right length and width cannot make up for pockets that are too shallow. Check the pocket depth for the option you choose.
Which texture do you prefer?
Solid-colored organic cotton provides a base that’s easy to coordinate. Striped percale pairs a regular pattern with a crisper feel. Washed cotton sateen offers a different, smoother feel for those who appreciate that finish.
These terms do not refer to three different fibers: percale and sateen describe cotton weaves. Check the product’s composition and features to choose the feel you want, rather than relying on the name alone.
Coordinate the sheet with your bedding
The fitted sheet can match the color of the duvet cover or create a subtle contrast. If the cover is striped, a solid-colored sheet can give the arrangement a calmer look. You can also pick up a color from the pattern to maintain a visual connection.
Pillowcases complete the look. For a simple result, limit the number of colors and let the textures add variety. Pieces from the same collection are easier to pair when their sizes suit your bedding.
Fitted sheet and mattress protector: two different purposes
A mattress protector goes under the fitted sheet to protect the mattress. The sheet then provides the fabric you sleep on and contributes to the look of your bedding. It is not necessarily waterproof and does not replace a protector designed for that purpose.
Fit both pieces smoothly and check that they stay in place at all four corners. If one layer is too tight, choose a different size rather than stretching it excessively over the mattress.
Care for your bedding so it’s ready when you need it
Read the washing instructions for the item you choose and follow its permitted drying method. The striped percale item shown can be washed at 40 °C; always check your item’s label before washing it.
We recommend keeping a spare fitted sheet to make changes easier. Once you’ve chosen the size and texture, you’ll have a practical, comfortable foundation for your bedding that’s easy to coordinate with your bedroom.
