The Malo Wood Storage Bed combines a double sleeping space with discreet storage beneath the bed base. Malo comes with its lift-up slatted bed base, without a mattress or headboard. You can complete the bed with the matching Malo headboard, sold separately.

The structure is made from 22 mm particleboard in the upper section and 16 mm particleboard in the lower section, with ABS edging. This construction gives the bed a balanced silhouette and surfaces that are easy to care for day to day.
Beneath the sleeping area, the Malo storage bed offers a practical place for comforters, pillows, linens and out-of-season clothes. It makes use of the space under the bed base, freeing up room in your closets and helping keep your bedroom tidy.
The bed opens from the foot using a strap. Two gas struts assist with lifting, and a stop holds the mattress in place. No additional clearance is needed at the head of the bed to open the storage compartment.
The storage compartment has no base: stored items rest directly on the floor. Suitable covers or boxes can keep linens together and protect them from dust.
Malo includes a metal-frame bed base with 20 slats. The spacing between them lets air circulate beneath the mattress. The bed supports up to 200 kg, excluding the weight of the mattress.
