Foam mattresses
Our foam mattresses come in twin, double, and folding styles. Their comfort depends on the inner construction as well as the surface fabric. Compare density, thickness, and initial feel to select the right model for your bed.
Why choose a foam mattress?
A foam construction offers a spring-free sleep surface, with a feel that varies depending on the materials used. It can suit a stationary bed or certain convertible setups. Our selection includes conventional mattresses and models designed to fold, accommodating different room layouts.
Before choosing, consider the bed base and the comfort you expect. A mattress designed to stay on a bed base is not selected by the same criteria as one designed to fold as part of a convertible piece of furniture.
What do density and thickness tell you?
Density indicates the mass of material per unit of volume. On its own, it is not a measure of firmness. To understand how a mattress feels, also consider its construction, any layers added on top, and the description of its support.
Thickness tells you how much space a mattress takes up. It matters especially when the mattress is stored under a bed or needs to sit at a specific height within a frame. First choose a height that fits the furniture, then compare the comfort options available within that limit.
Conventional foam or memory foam?
Our collection includes high-density foam constructions and a two-person memory foam model. These terms describe different designs: not all foam mattresses have a viscoelastic layer.
If you like a cushioning feel, read about the initial feel and the composition of the upper layers. If you prefer a more direct feel, compare models without relying solely on their height. To broaden your comparison, explore our pocket spring mattresses too.
The role of the fabric cover
Products in this category may combine a foam core with a cover containing organic cotton or bamboo viscose. The fabric’s name does not change the nature of the supportive core. This distinction helps you make an informed choice.
You can find the relevant models among our bamboo mattresses. Always check the full composition and whether the mattress has a removable cover. Care for the outer fabric depends on how it is made and the product-specific recommendations.
Choose a size that fits the bed
For a stationary bed, choose a mattress that matches the exact length and width of the bed base. Available dimensions vary by model: select the size you want on the product page before ordering. Our twin mattresses let you compare compact sizes.
For convertible furniture, explore our folding mattresses and check their dimensions both open and folded. A standard mattress should not be folded for this purpose. The folding mechanism must be built into the product’s design.
Maintain comfort night after night
Place the mattress on the recommended base, let the bedding air out, and use a suitable protector. Flip it only if both sides are designed for sleeping. Follow the care instructions for the model you choose.
We recommend comparing a few basic features: dimensions, thickness, initial feel, support, and ease of care. This makes the choice clearer and helps you find a foam mattress that works with your everyday setup.
