Sienna Extendable Solid Beech Daybed

Yes, the Sienna daybed is designed for everyday sleeping, in either a single- or double-bed configuration. It provides a place to relax during the day and a bed to sleep in each night.

For comfort suited to your sleeping habits, choose a mattress that is compatible with the bed and intended for everyday use.

When closed, Sienna provides a 90 × 200 cm sleeping surface. Once the extendable section is pulled out, it provides a 180 × 200 cm sleeping surface.

These measurements refer to the sleeping surface. To check how much room you need, see the external dimensions of the bed when closed and open in the relevant section.

The solid pine slatted bed base is included with the Sienna daybed. The mattress is sold separately, so you can choose a sleeping setup that suits your needs.

To use the extendable bed, you have two options:

• One Bamboo folding mattress, compatible with the 90 × 200 and 180 × 200 cm configurations.
• Two 90 × 200 cm twin mattresses, stacked when the daybed is closed and placed side by side when it is open.

If you use two twin mattresses, the second sits on top of the first mattress when the daybed is closed. When you open the bed, place them side by side to create a 180 × 200 cm sleeping surface.

A compatible folding mattress folds up for the single-bed configuration.

Yes. When opened and fitted with the folding mattress or two suitable mattresses, Sienna provides a 180 × 200 cm sleeping surface for two people. You can use it every night or to accommodate guests, depending on your needs.

Simply pull out the extendable section of the bed, then unfold a compatible mattress or place your two twin mattresses side by side.

Leave enough space in front of the daybed to extend it fully and move around the sleeping area.

Sienna combines several materials, chosen for the different parts of the bed:

• Frame: solid beech.
• Sides and back panel: beech-veneered engineered wood panels.
• Bed base slats: solid pine.

The beech veneer on the sides and back panel gives them a wood appearance that complements the frame.

Sienna is made in France, in Charente-Maritime. The beech comes from responsibly managed French forests certified by PEFC. This approach reflects Maison Aveni’s commitment to offering furniture that is useful every day, with attention to where it comes from and what it is made of.

No, Sienna arrives unassembled in three packages. We recommend assembling it with two people and allowing enough room to identify the parts and follow the instructions.

Before delivery, check the package dimensions to make sure they will fit through doors, hallways, and staircases.

Sienna works well in a studio apartment, bedroom, home office, or guest room. Its extendable design saves space during the day while providing a bed for one or two people at night.

A few cushions and a throw are all you need to create an inviting spot to read, relax, or entertain guests.

For regular care, use a soft, slightly damp cloth, then wipe with a dry cloth. Avoid abrasive products and excess water to preserve the wood’s appearance.

The Bamboo folding mattress accommodates Sienna’s transformation between single- and double-bed configurations. It gives you a mattress suited to the daybed’s design, without having to move two separate mattresses each time you open it.

The mattress is sold separately: remember to add it to your order if you want to receive the bed and mattress together.
