The Malo storage bed with headboard combines the warmth of a light oak-look finish with the softness of a padded cream fabric headboard. Made in France and available in 140 × 190 cm and 160 × 200 cm, it offers a bed for two and discreet storage to help organize your bedroom.
The set includes the storage bed, lift-up slatted bed base, and upholstered headboard. The mattress is sold separately, so you can choose the comfort that suits you.
The 6 cm-thick padded headboard dresses the wall behind the bed and offers support for reading or relaxing. Its textured cream fabric, accented by a central vertical seam, adds dimension without overwhelming the decor.
The 100% polyester, OEKO-TEX-certified upholstery has an “easy clean” treatment that makes upkeep easier. Its light color pairs with the bed’s light oak-look finish, solid-color bedding, or more colorful textiles to create a personal, welcoming space.
Beneath the bed base, the Malo storage bed provides space for comforters, pillows, household linens, or off-season clothing. Your belongings stay out of sight under the bed while remaining accessible when needed.
The bed opens from the foot using a strap. Two gas struts assist with lifting, and a stop holds the mattress in place. The storage compartment opens with the headboard installed, with no extra clearance needed at the head of the bed.
The storage compartment has no base: items rest directly on the floor. Suitable covers or boxes help keep your linens together and protect them from dust.
The Malo bed includes a metal-framed bed base with 20 slats that allows air to circulate beneath the mattress. The bed supports up to 200 kg, excluding the mattress.
For the mechanism to work properly, choose a mattress weighing between 16 and 30 kg in the size that matches your bed. We recommend the two-person Bambou mattress; check the weight of the size you select.
Made in France, the bed frame is constructed from PEFC-certified particleboard panels, 22 mm thick in the upper section and 16 mm thick in the lower section. The light oak-look finish adds a natural touch, while ABS edging completes the panels’ finish.
Clean the bed’s surfaces with a slightly damp soft cloth, followed by a dry cloth. The set comes with a 3-year warranty, and replacement parts are available.
