Alba wood bed with upholstered headboard

Alba wood bed with upholstered headboard: natural, functional lines

The Alba bed with upholstered headboard combines the simplicity of an oak-effect frame with the softness of an ecru upholstered backrest. Its understated lines give the bedroom a more serene feel. The angled headboard creates an inviting impression and a distinctive silhouette, while solid oak legs make the bed look lighter.

This model favors a straightforward, comfortable design. It comes with a classic slatted bed base that provides an even foundation for the mattress. With no complex mechanism or unnecessary bulk, it suits anyone looking for an elegant double bed that fits easily into a room and is comfortable to use every day.

Designed to make everyday life easier

The upholstered headboard was designed for the moments before sleep. Its angled shape makes it more natural to lean back while reading or watching a movie, while the fabric keeps you from resting against a cold, rigid surface. This thoughtful detail makes the bed a place to relax even when it is not time to sleep.

The slatted bed base supports the mattress evenly and allows air to circulate beneath it. It is a simple, proven solution suited to everyday use. The mattress is chosen separately, so you can select the firmness and construction that best suit your preferences.

The bed is available in 140 x 200 cm and 160 x 200 cm sizes. The first suits bedrooms where every centimeter counts while still providing a comfortable double bed. The second offers more room and fits naturally into a larger primary bedroom. Both sizes share the same lines and quality of finish.

An understated oak-effect finish

The oak-effect furniture board frame has a warm, uniform appearance. It is complemented by varnished solid oak legs, which reinforce the structure and introduce natural wood close to the floor. The ecru headboard fabric softens the overall look and creates a light palette that is easy to pair with other furnishings.

The design avoids unnecessary details. Gently rounded corners, a continuous wood-effect finish, and the softly shaped headboard create a balanced look. This Scandinavian-inspired style works as well in a minimalist bedroom as in a cozier space with linen curtains, textured rugs, and natural tones.

Furniture designed for everyday life at home

The clearance beneath the frame and the raised legs make it easier to clean the room and give the bed a less imposing appearance. The bed still anchors the space while leaving the floor and the area around it feeling open. It is a fitting choice for a restful bedroom without too many contrasts or decorative elements.

Its European manufacturing and timeless design reflect an approach to long-lasting furniture: a structure made for repeated use, materials suited to their purpose, and an aesthetic that can adapt to changes in decor. The Alba bed favors practical comfort and simplicity over passing trends.

The Alba collection: softness and cohesion

The Alba collection was designed as a cohesive way to furnish the home, with understated lines and clearly defined functions. The oak-effect finish brings brightness, while natural wood and solid oak details add depth to the most visible and frequently used areas. This continuity lets you pair this piece with others in the collection without creating an overly uniform look: the shapes remain simple, but each detail has its own presence.

European manufacturing supports this balance between appearance and function. Furniture board is the main material: it provides even surfaces and good dimensional stability, and helps maintain precise joints. The natural wood parts have a clear finish that reveals their color and grain. The result is furniture that fits easily into a room and is designed to remain relevant as your decor changes.
