Designed to meet standards for strength and durability, the Maïa 75 cm upholstered bar stool with metal legs complies with EN 16139. This certification attests to its strength for intensive use, including in commercial settings. A reliable, safe piece of furniture suited to private spaces and public venues alike.
With its understated design and careful finishing, the Maïa 75 cm upholstered bar stool with metal legs fits easily into different decor styles. It feels at home in a contemporary kitchen, a dining area, or a commercial space. A stylish, functional choice that helps define the space.
The EN 16139:2013 standard ensures that your stool meets Europe’s strictest safety and strength requirements. Before it can be certified, the stool must pass a series of intensive tests simulating years of real-world use: 200,000 seating cycles and 100,000 cycles of pressure on the backrest, each with loads of up to 110 kg.
The frame also undergoes impact, tipping, point-load, and fatigue tests to ensure that it does not warp or squeak and remains completely stable over the years.
In practical terms, a stool that complies with EN 16139:2013 is more than sturdy: it is designed to withstand heavy use while retaining its comfort, stability, and elegance. It’s a durable, reliable stool that can stand up to everyday life—whether used at home, at work, or in a public space. That peace of mind is especially valuable when choosing a piece of furniture designed to last.
