Alba 2-drawer desk

Alba 2-drawer desk: natural, functional lines

The Alba desk turns a workspace into a calmer, more organized and pleasant place to spend time. Its design brings together a generous desktop, a solid oak frame and two built-in drawers. Rounded lines soften its appearance, allowing it to fit into a dedicated office, bedroom or dining room without disrupting the decor.

At 123 cm wide, it provides ample room for a laptop, monitor, documents, and desk lamp. Its 56.8 cm depth is modest, making it easier to fit into rooms where every centimeter counts. The desk strikes a balance between usable workspace and a manageable footprint.

Designed to simplify everyday life

The two drawers hold supplies, notebooks, chargers, and small accessories. Their soft-close action reduces noise and gently guides them shut. The desktop is easier to keep clear, helping you focus and preventing visible clutter from building up.

At the back, a compartment and cable openings make it easier to organize connections. Power strips and cords can be grouped together instead of left on the floor or desktop. A lockable box completes the setup and helps secure certain accessories. This attention to cable management improves both the appearance of the desk and ease of cleaning.

The back panel can hold the included magnetic strip, keeping notes, memos, or small accessories in view. The desk thus becomes an organized workstation for remote work, studying, or creative activities without the need for multiple add-ons.

An understated oak-effect finish

The desktop and storage elements are made from oak-effect furniture board. The solid oak frame gives the desk a more natural visual foundation and accentuates its slim silhouette. Rounded corners and balanced proportions create an understated Scandinavian design that pairs easily with a fabric, wood, or metal chair.

The light oak color catches the light and helps create a calm workspace. The metal details are discreet and functional. The overall design avoids the overly technical look of a conventional desk, retaining the feel of furniture made for the home.

Furniture suited to everyday life at home

In a bedroom, the Alba desk can also serve as a work console or vanity, depending on your needs. In a dining room, its finished back and built-in storage let it blend in without looking like strictly office furniture. It adapts to changing needs and different stages of life.

Made in Europe, this desk emphasizes functional design, stable materials, and solid wood details. It’s designed to withstand repeated use while retaining a timeless look.

The Alba collection: softness and cohesion

The Alba collection was designed as a cohesive range for furnishing interiors with calm lines and clearly defined functions. The oak-effect finish brings lightness, while natural wood and solid oak elements add texture to the most visible and frequently used areas. This continuity makes it easy to pair this piece with others in the collection without making the room feel too uniform: the shapes remain understated, but each detail has its own character.

European manufacturing supports this balance of appearance and function. Furniture board is the piece’s main material: it provides even surfaces and good dimensional stability while helping keep the joints precise. The natural wood elements are protected by a clear finish that reveals their color and grain. The result is furniture that fits easily into a room and is designed to stay relevant as decor changes.

To preserve the furniture’s appearance, simply dust it regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For marks, use a slightly damp cloth, then wipe the surface dry immediately. Avoid abrasive products, rough sponges, and standing moisture. On the top, a trivet or protective mat also helps limit direct contact with very hot or damp objects.
