More reassuring and comfortable than a ladder, the stairs make it easier to reach the bed while providing substantial storage. Open cubbies hold books and everyday items, while the built-in cabinet makes room for linens or other essentials. The stairs can be assembled on either the left or right side of the bed to suit the room’s layout.
The space beneath the bed easily accommodates a desk or storage, letting you create a work or relaxation area without taking up the rest of the room.
The frame is made from FSC-certified solid pine, sourced from sustainably managed forests. Its strength makes it suitable for everyday use, and its white finish is achieved with water-based paint free of solvents and volatile organic compounds (VOCs)—a choice that helps preserve the room’s air quality. Made in Europe, the Selia bed is designed to be kept, repaired, and enjoyed for years to come.
Choosing a loft bed that complies with NF EN 747-1 and NF EN 747-2 means opting for some of Europe’s strictest safety standards.
Before reaching the market, each model must pass a series of demanding tests: resistance to a vertical load of at least 100 kg, lateral pressure of up to 120 kg on the guardrails, and 500 cycles of repeated loading to verify lasting strength.
The safety rails must be at least a minimum height, with appropriately spaced bars to eliminate any risk of entrapment.
Even the stairs are put to the test, with a load of approximately 100 kg applied to each step to verify its reliability.
These standards leave nothing to chance: stability, strength, the absence of hazardous edges, reliability… everything is checked with meticulous precision.

In-stock products ship within 24 to 48 hours, with delivery estimated in 3 to 5 business days. For preorders, the shipping date is shown on each product page. An order containing multiple pieces of furniture will be delivered in one shipment, based on the longest lead time.
You can postpone delivery of your order. Simply enter your preferred delivery date in the “Comments” field when choosing your delivery method at step 3 of checkout. We’ll schedule shipment according to your request. The carrier will then contact you to arrange a delivery appointment.
You have 14 days to return your furniture in its original packaging. If you cancel after shipment, your refund will be issued less the cost of shipping in both directions. We calculate a fair, transparent, and ethical price for each return.
