The 90x200 storage bed base combines a sleeping surface for one person with storage beneath the mattress. Its 200 cm length suits an adult single bed, while its 90 cm width saves space in the bedroom. The bed thus serves two purposes within the same floor area.

Which mattress should you use with this storage bed base?

Choose a 90 × 200 cm mattress weighing between 20 and 40 kg. This range suits the standard lift mechanism. Check with our team before ordering a lighter or heavier mattress, even if its length and width are correct.

A ventilated lift-up upholstered platform

The bed base combines a tubular metal frame with a wooden platform covered in breathable fabric with a honeycomb finish. Four ventilation openings complement this construction to promote airflow between the storage compartment and the mattress. The support is included with the bed and integrated into its mechanism.

The storage compartment opens from the foot of the bed. A handle integrated into the platform lets you lift the bed base with the assistance of two gas struts, while a metal bar holds the mattress in place during opening. Leave enough room there to operate the bed and reach the contents of the compartment.

An undivided storage compartment for bedding

The storage space is not divided into compartments. You can use it for a comforter, blankets, spare sheets, or seasonal clothing. The bottom rests on the floor and helps limit dust rising into the compartment while separating your belongings from the bedroom flooring.

Suitable storage bags or boxes let you organize smaller items without blocking access to bulky ones. Stay within the usable height and keep belongings clear of the mechanism. The compartment must close normally without compressing its contents against the underside of the bed base.

Three finishes and a setup to plan for

The four sides of the bed are made from 28 mm engineered wood panels certified by PEFC. Choose white, a natural oak-look finish, or a bleached oak-look finish. Both oak finishes are decorative surfaces applied to the panels. They offer different visual tones while retaining the same construction.

The bed is made in France, comes with a three-year warranty, and has replaceable parts.
